| The Midlothian Village Day Festival & Craft Fair is held each fall on the 3rd Saturday in October. It is the club's main fundraiser of the year. Club members start coordinating all of the aspects of the Festival in May. We have games, inflatables, crafters, food vendors, local dance troupes and performers and booths for area businesses. | The Cinderella Dreams Prom Dress Project is held each spring. During the late winter and early spring, the club collects prom dresses, jewelry, shoes, makeup and other prom-related accessories at Richmond-area YMCA branches. We then hold a 'shopping' event, Cinderella's Closet, where girls can shop for and select a dress and accessories for free. In 2007, we partnered with Q94 to help over 120 girls fulfill their prom dreams at no cost to them! For more information, visit www.cinderelladreams.net. |
